Administration & Operations Support ensures that vital services are delivered in support of operational needs and strategic priorities. We provide quality service, specialized support, and innovative solutions to enable the departments in Facilities Services to successfully accomplish their missions.
Services include:
- Assist in interpretation of policies, procedures, laws, and processes
- Serve on union contract negotiations teams that represent facilities staff
- Investigate and help resolve customer complaints or disputes as needed
- Review and coordinate divisional audits with appropriate parties
- Information Technology
- Develop management tools to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase stewardship of university IT assets managed by Facilities Services
- Serve as responsible system administrator (RSA) for Facilities Services systems
- Oversight of Programming Staff and the Computer and Network Support Function
- Information technology Management Council (ITMC) Respresentative for Facilities Services
- Project management on a wide variety of projects
With the centralization of the Information Technology, the Director of Administration & Operations Support is also responsible for managing the activities of Computer & Network Support and Programming Services.
