A newer fraternity structure, Kappa Alpha exemplifies Cornell's revived commitment to small group housing in the 1950s and 1960s. The style recalls a chalet. Materials are stone and wood. Set within a grove, the major features include a pitched roof with deep overhangs at the gable ends and a tall chimney stack.
